How to get to Pickens

From Buckhannon Follow Rt. 20 S. 9 miles to the WV Wildlife Center. Turn left on Alexander Helvetia Rd. CR11, proceed 20 miles to Helvetia, turn right on Pickens Rd. (45), proceed 5 miles to Pickens. From Elkins Follow Rt. 219-250 S. 16 miles to Mill Creek, turn right on Adolph Road CR46, proceed 6 miles to Adolph. Turn right across the bridge, proceed 14 miles to Helvetia. At the Hutte Restaurant turn left on Pickens Rd. CR45, proceed 5 miles to Pickens. From Valley Head Follow Rt. 15 W. 6 miles to Monterville, turn right on Pickens Rd. (45), proceed 12 miles to Pickens. From Webster Springs Follow Rt. 20 N. 20 miles to Hacker Valley, turn right on Pickens Rd. (47), proceed 12 miles to Pickens. Please note: Roads from Hacker Valley and Monterville are gravel base roads, and are regularly maintained. |
